Job Details
Gather business requirements using multiple business analysis elicitation
techniques including but not limited to; interviews, surveys, document
analysis, focus groups, interface analysis, prototyping, observation, and
brainstorming.
Collaborate with end users to define concepts.
Facilitate design sessions with business and technical teams to define
solutions.
Author multiple project documents including but not limited to; business
requirements, functional design, estimates and quality assurance.
Write unambiguous requirements to a testable level (functional and
nonfunctional)
Model processes using various notations (i.e., Unified Modeling Language
(UML), Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN), Workflows, Swim lanes
etc.)
Perform gap analysis and identifies process weaknesses and suggests areas
of improvement.
Actively communicate with internal teams and external clients for the
duration of the project and beyond
Take initiative to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Liaise with development teams and project management to ensure business
commitments are being adhered to and delivered in a timely manner.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Deliver informative, well organized presentations to partners at critical
points in the project.
Provides leadership as a main point of contact for clients for the duration
of the project.
Provide quality service to Portfolio+ clients.
Critically evaluate information gathered from various sources, reconciles
conflicts, and decomposes high level information into details.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Perform Project Management functions for assigned projects as
required.
Produce work plans and track budget and effort to estimate on
engagements.

Qualification
Undergraduate degree or college diploma (preferred)
CBAP or equivalent years' work experience (8+ years) as a Business
Analyst
(preferred)
Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, PMP
Solid understanding of the financial industry (preferred)
Knowledge of requirements elicitation techniques
Excellent familiarity with process modelling tools (i.e., Visio etc.)
Strong knowledge of software system design and software development
processes (SDLC)
Experience and knowledge of design and documentation of API’s
Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Ability to document business requirements, functional design, quality
assurance plans and test cases.
Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills.

improvement.
